Wellness
Designing restorative environments where water, light, and engineering come together to create spaces of balance, luxury, and rejuvenation.
What We Offer
Cold Plunges
Cold plunges are engineered for precision and stability. We design systems that maintain accurate temperature control, rapid recovery times, and reliable circulation to support performance-based wellness and recovery protocols.
Hydrotherapy Spas
Our hydrotherapy spas are engineered for therapeutic performance and long-term reliability. Precise temperature control, carefully engineered jet placement, and balanced circulation systems work together to support recovery, relaxation, and consistent daily use.
Hot Spas
Hot spas are designed as fully integrated wellness systems. We engineer heating, circulation, and control strategies that deliver consistent comfort, energy efficiency, and dependable performance for both residential and commercial applications.
Saunas
Our saunas are custom-developed to balance thermal performance, material durability, and spatial design. Each sauna is tailored in layout, finishes, and heating technology to create a controlled, comfortable, and long-lasting thermal environment.
Steam Rooms
Steam rooms require precise mechanical and environmental control. We engineer systems that manage steam generation, humidity, drainage, and materials to ensure consistent performance, comfort, and durability in both private and commercial settings.
Experience Showers
Experience showers are designed as immersive wellness environments. From rain rooms and multi-sensory shower sequences to contrast therapy applications, we engineer water delivery, drainage, lighting, and controls to support dynamic, experiential use.
Float Therapy Pools
Float therapy pools are engineered for buoyancy control, water chemistry stability, and precise environmental conditions. We design these systems to support sensory reduction, consistent salinity, and reliable operation for therapeutic and recovery-focused use.
Complete Wellness Environments
We design and engineer complete wellness facilities, from private home wellness rooms to luxury gym installations and full-scale commercial wellness centers. Every element is integrated into a cohesive environment where layout, flow, climate control, and user experience are all considered together.

Wellness FAQs

How early should Smart Aquatics be involved in a project?
Ideally, we’re brought in during the early design phase to collaborate with the architect or landscape designer. Early involvement ensures that technical and aesthetic considerations are aligned, preventing costly redesigns later.
Do you only work on residential projects?
No. We work across residential, hospitality, wellness, and commercial environments. From private home spas and hydrotherapy suites to full-scale hotel wellness facilities and commercial aquatic centers, we design and engineer wellness environments at every scale.
Can you collaborate with my architect or builder?
Yes. We work as a specialized extension of your existing project team. Our role is to provide the aquatic and wellness expertise your architect, builder, or contractor needs to execute the project at the highest level without disrupting their workflow or existing relationships.
Do you handle construction as well as design?
Our core services are design, engineering, and consulting. Through our affiliated construction management team, we also provide oversight during construction to ensure what was designed and engineered is what gets built. This includes submittal reviews, field observations, and coordination with trades throughout the build.
What makes Smart Aquatics different from other pool designers?
We are not a standard pool company. We are engineers and designers who focus exclusively on complex, high-end aquatic environments. Our team brings over three decades of specialized experience, licensed professional engineering, and the technical depth to take on projects that other firms are not equipped to handle.
