Challenge
Designed as a luxury bathhouse in the heart of Wynwood, the project brings together multiple pools, spas, cold plunges, saunas, a rain room, and a float therapy pool within a single wellness destination. The facility combines both indoor and outdoor aquatic experiences, each serving a distinct purpose.
The challenge was engineering a wide range of specialized aquatic systems within one facility while meeting Florida Department of Health requirements and the operational demands of a high-traffic commercial environment. Each body of water had unique performance, water quality, and temperature requirements, all of which needed to operate reliably for long-term commercial use.
Solution
Each aquatic feature was engineered as a dedicated system tailored to its intended purpose, from hydrotherapy pools and cold plunges to the float therapy pool and rain room. Every system was developed to satisfy the unique operational, hydraulic, and water treatment requirements associated with its specific use.
The engineering was coordinated to meet Florida Department of Health requirements while supporting the demands of a high-volume commercial facility. Equipment layouts, system redundancy, service access, and long-term maintainability were all incorporated to ensure reliable day-to-day operation.
The result is a commercial bathhouse where multiple specialized aquatic environments operate together as a seamless wellness destination, delivering the performance, reliability, and longevity expected of a premier hospitality facility.
