Located in Lighthouse Point, this project involves the complete redesign, engineering, and construction of the outdoor living environment for an existing waterfront residence. The homeowner wanted to completely reimagine the backyard, replacing the existing pool and outdoor spaces with a modern outdoor living environment that better complemented the architecture of the home.
The new outdoor environment was designed around a vanishing-edge pool and spa, complemented by a custom pergola with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and additional outdoor living spaces. Particular attention was given to the architectural detailing, with the pergola designed to match the home's existing wood accents, coral stone, metal roof, and overall material palette so the new construction feels like a natural extension of the residence rather than a later addition.
The project has now progressed into the engineering phase, where the design is being developed into a comprehensive set of construction documents. Every structural, hydraulic, and architectural detail is being coordinated to ensure the transformation of the backyard can be executed as designed.
