Designed for an avid automotive enthusiast, this project reimagines the traditional swimming pool by making a Lamborghini an active part of the experience. The vision was to allow the vehicle to drive directly into and out of the pool while preserving the appearance and functionality of a luxury residential watershape.
The challenge was engineering a pool that performed as both a luxury swimming pool and a functional vehicle display. Every aspect of the design had to be developed around the Lamborghini's unique physical and operational requirements while ensuring the pool remained practical for everyday use.
Engineering for the project began with the Lamborghini itself. The vehicle's dimensions, clearances, and operating requirements were verified directly with the manufacturer and used to develop the pool geometry, ensuring the car could safely enter and exit the water exactly as envisioned by the client.
A custom grass-integrated knife-edge detail was engineered at the vehicle entry and exit point, requiring precise coordination of the pool structure, overflow system, and drainage to preserve the clean appearance of a continuous edge while accommodating repeated vehicle traffic.
The result is a one-of-a-kind engineering solution that allows a Lamborghini to drive directly into and out of the pool, transforming an unconventional concept into a fully functional luxury watershape.
